Series title: Rainy Garden 8-bit / Ogród Deszczowy 8-bitowy
In this series, I focused primarily on the search for painterly pixel values and the transformation of the impressions characteristic of the screen into a material object in the form of a print on paper. The themes are based on the language of digital culture. Old computer games, pixel art, and the LoFi theme (low accuracy) inspired me to create the composition. The process of creating the works is a combination of digital processing and manual dissolving of the print with water. Experimenting with this technique is another reason for creating this series. Thanks to the physical interference with the paper, the image from the world of screens becomes less ideal and more human. By printing the composition on paper, it can be experienced on a physically perceptible surface.
